What do we do?
Our program provides athletes with special needs a hockey team to belong to, an ice surface to gain confidence on, and a community to build friendships in.
What makes our program possible:
- The Players
- The Volunteers
- The Sponsors

Who supports our mission?
The Ottawa Bandits were extremely honoured to be the recipients of the NHLPA Goals and Dreams fund. We were treated to amazing visit from Ottawa Senators players Brady Tkachuk, Mathieu Joseph, Zack MacEwen and Anton Forsberg. The NHLPA has gifted us 25 sets of hockey gear in addition to Hyundai Canadaโs incredible $15,000.00 donation to the program. We will continue to strive every week to achieve our mission of โHockey Friendship and Inclusionโ and these awesome donations will help us for years to come. Thank you NHLPA and Hyundai Canada from all the Bandits players and families.
The Players’ charitable initiative is designed to assist grassroots hockey programs who are helping deserving youth play the game of hockey. Qualified programs receive complete sets of brand new hockey equipment from the NHLPA Goals & Dreams fund, to be distributed to deserving youth in their community.
Did you see us on TV?
Thanks to Hyuandai, Hometown Hockey and Sportsnet, the Bandits were featured on National television during Hockey Night in Canada! Check it out:
